A general physician after conducting a physical examination of the patient recommends necessary tests and diagnostic procedures. The result of these tests along with symptoms at the time of examination lead to final diagnosis and general physician then recommends necessary treatment (usually medication) to the patient or refers them to speciality doctor for further treatment.
